100 Natural Latex Mattresses
Should I be concerned about buying a synthetic latex mattress?
My wife and I are thinking of buying a latex mattress Sealy (Springfree line) that we liked in the store. The seller told us they were made of Natural Latex, but some google revealed that this was incorrect. Their applications Sealy latex is "natural based" which sounds relatively meaningless, but it seems that there is a common consensus around its latex is 100% Synthetic (specifically a European brand called Sapsa). A lot of Natural Latex Mattress sellers vaguely relate to the removal of chemical gases, " synthetic latex, but could not find any substantial or specific information about what it means and if it does not pose a toxic hazard. Can any chemical out there shed some light on this? I am looking for an educated answer, impartial (ie, if you sell mattresses natural latex or synthetic, do not bother to answer.) Thanks!
