Natural Rubber Cord
Is there any way to soften the electronic cables?
Everyone knows that almost all the cables you get with electronic components today has wire loops around the packaging and tend to retain this form unless you actually working on a lot of work bending natural curves them. Is there a product you can put on them to soften? Maybe a "spray on" plasticizer or similar? I know most of the products designed to soften rubber or plastic to reduce the life expectancy of the strings, but I prefer to have shorter life pigtails pain lasting at rear cables I have now.
Warm them a bit: Put them near a heat register, or set your oven to 150F. If using the oven, do not leave alone, and put them on a baking tray so as not to distort and waved in the oven racks.
