Braces, Rubber Bands?
I have some questions. On Monday, they gave me rubber bands to use for the first time. They told me what I put up the second to last tooth down to my "fangs" on the bottom of both sides. I've been doing pretty well with them and I'm starting notice some changes, but I have some concerns. – It is painful to put the bands, what better? will be easier to talk in the future? I feel I can not pronounce words correctly. – From the sidelines, I realized that my back teeth (molars) do not match, is this natural? Thanks for the help! When I wear the bands, which mainly it hurts on my left side and feels like a complement. It is sore for about ten minutes and then is okay, but the time is pain is unbearable D:
The pain is pressure. Pressure is necessary to help move the teeth. Over time, you get used to it. Talking with the rubber bands help create the necessary force to move the teeth. Do not worry too much about how the matching teeth now. The doctor is doing his job. Braces have patience, there are a lot of movement and adjustment, moving and bending. I hope this was helpful!
