Since 1942, all car manufacturers were making tanks, half-tracks, jeeps, army trucks and other military vehicles. The speed limit is set at 35 to help conserve gasoline. The only way to ensure control over the rubber was the ration through ration card. All tires sold had to be supported by the appropriate number or rationing rubber tips. In this way, the tires could not be sell-side at inflated prices to those who were not qualified. Everyone has the minimum necessary for the IG has what is needed. Back then, people thought distribution as very fair. Today, too many citizens have a "me first and to hell with the rear" attitude.
