In the standards for enlistment j. says History of anaphylaxis (995.0), including but not limited to idiopathic and induced by exercise anaphylaxis to venom, including stinging insects (989.5), food or food additives (995.60-69) or Natural Rubber latex (989.82) is grounds for disqualification. Now I was diagnosed with an allergy to bees and I have NEVER been to anaphylaxis before, but I had a reaction when he was 4, with inflammation at the site of the bite on the lip and urticaria. My mom made me but it was an EpiPen nessisary. I've been bitten several times and nothing has occurred to me reading the questions of recruiters and is said allergic to bees, wasps or other insect bites (itching / swelling all over and / or difficulty breathing) Yes / No If yes ii is marked will be disqualified and the need for a waiver, or if they let me explain and then they decide. If anyone has experienced anything like this before tell me plz!
When I was on active duty, there were several soldiers allergic to bee stings. Were forced to carry an EpiPen on them at all times. They have never been diagnosed as allergies, which technically are not lying when they say no.
